My models

I was trying out a new setup today...2 lights! So I had to recruit a few models for me. The kids both picked out their own clothes, too. Can you believe they all ended up in blues!!

This is one of the few good shots I've got of mom, too. What do you think?

Home & Sharing...

We made it back home yesterday evening. It was a long trip with the kids. About half way home, Hannah decided that we needed to "turn around and go back to Aunt Polly's house."

I just wanted to share these photos from our Whale Watching adventure! Andrew was so upset when it was canceled the first day. He was really looking forward to it. He did have a blast. I think he's got a new interest now....whales!

So here comes the photos....

The tail shot...He was so close to the boat. My lens was too long so I ended up cutting out part of the tail. Still love the shot, though!

Oh...the first shot is shot through the window as we were leaving Barnstable Harbor....isn't it beautiful there....And see the flag, too!

Cape Cod

The kids and I and my mom and dad are in Cape Cod visiting my Aunt Polly. We're having a great time! The kids are loving being the center of attention. Another thing they love is Aunt Polly's back porch. She feeds the birds, squirrels, chipmunks and even raccoons everyday. I've got a bunch of fun pictures of the wildlife around her house. The little chipmunk photo is one of my faves! Later, I'm going to have to make my way to the pond behind her house and get a picture of the swans with their babies!!

I couldn't wait to post these pictures from today so I had to go up to the public library and use their wireless network. Anyhow, the kids, mom & Aunt Lise had planned to go whale watching today, but the seas were too rough, and it got called off. So we went driving around and found a beautiful little beach in Barnstable right beside where we were going to take the whale watching cruise. It was a little chilly because they've had a cold front for the past few days, but the kids didn't notice and had a wonderful time!!

A Quick Update...

I've got 101 things that I need to be doing right now to get ready for our vacation. We're leaving in the morning for Cape Cod to visit with my aunt and her family. The kids are so excited to see the beach again!!

Anyways, just had to post a few of my favorites from today's mini family session & just one of Andrew showcasing his new soccer trophy!

Another Birthday Boy

Sweet Baby....

Just sharing a few previews from today's newborn session....well almost 5weeks old.

Playing Catch Up...

Sorry it's been so long since my last post. We've been really busy and sick lately. My parents have been here visiting for a little before heading up to Cape Cod to visit with my aunt. We'll be heading that way soon! I'm looking forward to shooting my first beach shots with the kids!

Here's some shots from the past week. Over the Memorial Day weekend, Simon and I drove to to Charlottesville to visit with friends and do a maternity photo shoot.

Here's one from the session...

On the way back we stopped at one of the scenic over looks and I got this beautiful view of the blue ridge mountains.

We also stopped at James Madison's Montpelier...the home of the 4th president of the United States. Here's some details from the place. They are currently renovating it to be like the days when he lived there.

We had a great visit with my parents! The kids got so spoiled to them being here. Here's a shot of Dad and Hannah walking out to see the geese at George Washington's Grist Mill.
I also did a little mini-session with Simon and the kids. Well, the kids weren't too into it & I don't have too many keepers from it. Here's just a couple, though.
