Photo Party - City Park

Wow...Today was a beautiful day for a photo party in the park. It was just the perfect weather for the kiddos.

Here are some of my favorites from the day. I'll have galleries posted in about a week. It was great meeting everyone today! I hope you enjoy your previews :)

"I don't even want to wear this shirt!"

Well...that's how our afternoon got started :). Andrew was very adamant about not wearing the new sweater that I choose for him to wear for our family photo. He says that it's itchy, but I think it's rather soft. He thinks the tag in the back should be cut out, but I hate doing that. Oh well, at least he got over it by the time we made it down to City Park.

Our friend Jen was nice enough to take our family photo today. I also got some great shots of her big family, too!

Okay...I can honestly say that I have a lot more sympathy for all my clients on the other end of the lens. I think I'm the worse in front of the camera....really, just ask Jen :). Anyhow...I'm so glad that I did it because I'm so proud to have these photos of our little family. Thanks Jen!

Christmas Mini Sessions - City Park

I had a great turn out for the Christmas Mini Session today at City Park. Even through all the cold weather and chilly winds, the kids were adorable! I hope everyone enjoys their preview, and I'll have galleries posted in a week. Thanks for coming out in the cold with me :)

Here's mom and dad with the kids. Mom stayed with me for a couple of weeks after the surgery to help out with everything. I wish we lived closer! We all miss her, and pop, too!

Brother and Sister...

I've fallen in love with this conversion and just had to give you a little sample! I think everyone knows how much I love black & white, but for these Christmas photos it takes away a little of the magic of the image. Then I found this desaturated conversion, and I love it!
