Why is it so hard....

...to pick just one favorite picture of your own kids? The kids and I did a little photo shoot today to try out the new background. I kind of like it....I think it'll grow on me. It definately looks better the further away from it they are. Anyways....I was just going to post my one favorite of each kid....But...I did get it down to my favorite 6 ;-)



One of these will make it on the wall for sure!! What's your favorite....Help me?

Snow Day

I'm a little late posting these, but I just had to share. We had snow on Sunday, and the kids had a snow day Monday! Believe it or not this was the first snow of the season...crazy, huh?

My Babies!

It seems like since I've started my little business I never get the chance to take nice photos of my own children....not to mention that they are completely tired of my camera and will only allow me 2 minutes of their time ;-)

So these photos were taken completely with a bribe...chocolate is the best!! I can't believe how fast they're growing up...Andrew is 5 and Hannah is already 3. I know it's crazy, but in my mind, she's still a baby & Andrew is stuck at 2 years old ;-).

I think the best thing about being this into photography is having the chance to document my children's lives. I always loved sitting for hours digging through shoe boxes filled with old photos of when I was a child...I hope that one day my kids will appreciate all these moments that I've captured in a photograph, too.

Here's a little preview of today's session. I think it turned out well! (We only used a small bribe...fruit snacks...lol) He thought Simon was very funny so I'm glad that he was around today.
