Sam + Tawny

Today, I photographed my very first wedding! Tawny & Sam were a wonderful couple to start off with because they were so easy-going & gorgeous together! The location was the beautiful Destrehen Plantation. The ceremony took place outdoors under a huge old tree with the reception just steps away in their amazing barn.

Pottery Barn Kids

I'm so glad that I've finally got the chance to share what I've been doing the past two weeks! I was contracted by Precious Times Photography to shoot in the Lakeside Mall Pottery Barn Kids store. The shoots were so much fun. I could use anything in the store as a prop, and the kids loved getting to play with all the cool toys! The store is just amazing and so kid friendly.

I'll have more details on the upcoming Christmas Mini session soon. I'm still trying to finalize a date. Right now, it's either the 15th or 22nd of November.

Andrew's Soccer Game...

Just wanted to share some photos of out little soccer star! He had a wonderful game Saturday. He even scored some goals...he says it was 4! The whole team did well, in fact. Andrew seems much happier this season on a winning team. Even though they don't officially keep score, the kids still know who's ahead :)

Halloween is almost here...

It's almost Halloween! The kids are excited, and we already have our costumes ready. There are so many fun decorations all around the neighborhood, and it makes it fun to take a walk in the evening!

Happy Birthday Andrew!

My big boy just turned 7! We celebrated his birthday Sunday with a neighborhood BBQ, and a group birthday party with our friends.

Thank you to everyone that came and celebrated Andrew's birthday with us! Our little circle of friends means so much to us, and I don't know what I'd do without neighbors like you! And, Happy Birthday little boy!!

A Photo Party...

Sunday was a big day around here! We celbrated Andrew's birthday with a big bash...bouncy house and all. I'll post pictures of that soon! I also got up early for a photo party with this wonderful girl of friends! Photo parties are a fun way for all your friends to get a free session with me plus you can earn free pictures by getting a 15% of the party sales in print credits!
