Children's Museum...

The kids and I had a fun day at the Children's Museum today with our friends. It was a rainy day all day long so it was great that they had a chance to play and get out some energy!

I've been wanting to shoot these blue doors for a long time now...PJ wore the perfect shirt for it without even knowing :)...
This is his superman pose...

Just a fun storyboard showcasing the doors and our little superhero...
Hannah's turn being the model...

I love that you can see Andrew in the background...

Andrew how to show me how high his Lego plane could fly...

This spiderman forgot his custom...

Bubble fun...

Shopping time....This is Hannah's favorite thing to do at the LCM!

This huge sofa is a new part of their Mexican exhibit. HOW COOL!

Maybe one of my favorites of the day...Love it!

Last one...Hannah riding on a little bike...

Don't forget about May Flowers!! Rain or shine - There's plenty of places to shoot during the rain :). I do have a few cancellation so if you've been waiting until the last minute go ahead and give me a call tonight. 504.342.4759.

It's been a while...

since I posted last, but I wanted to let everyone know that I still have a few openings for the May Flowers Mini sessions. Oh...and if you haven't seen it, yet....Hannah's on TV! Well...actually just my ad for the mini sessions is on cable channel 10. It looks like I'll have to feature Andrew next month :).

And I do need to post a photo...

This is one of my favorites of Hannah...

And here's something to look forward too...This will be something like I'll be doing for June. It'll be for military only or anyone else with base access.

Muriels

I'm finally getting around to sharing these photos from Tuesday night. I shot a private event upstairs at Muriel's on the Jackson Square. This place was full of atmosphere. The staircase leading up to the room was chilling! It was completely dark and lite by tea light candles all the way up the squared stairs . At the bottom was the ghost table where they would put out wine and cheese every night for the spirits. Really spooky...huh?! I wish you could have heard it, too! It had some spooky, chanting type music being played in the staircase, too. On the way home, I had to call Simon just so he could listen :0.

Most of my shots were candid shots of the people, but these weren't so I wanted to share them.

Obviously, not in order...This was at the end of the night....

The guest picked out a mask on the way into the event...

Just a shot of the restaurant...

Love this wine glass shot...

More wine...

The glowing candles were so pretty...

We were entertained the whole night by this lovely Quintet...

And greeted with beautiful flowers....

Oh...this is the staircase I was telling you about....

The haunted room....No orbs captured, though :)

The carriage way entrance...

Just a pretty detail...

Before the event...the dinning room was so elegant...

Shot in the parlor that is also haunted...

Mini Sessions at the Renaissance...

Just posting a few of my favorites from the shoots at the salon today. Renaissance Salon and Spa pampered their customers today with a "Mother's Day" celebration. The ladies came in for make-up, hair styles and massages, and then a photo session with me!

Today was the most sessions I've ever shot in one day and was lots of fun!

Enjoy the photographs...

This one is a 3 generation shot...

I've still got to get everyone's galleries up online. I hope you guys will forgive me, but I'll post them tomorrow. Feel free to leave comments here! :)

Sweet, Sweet Baby...

What a joy to photograph this little angel this morning! She's now 9 weeks old and was bright-eyed for most of our shoot.

Here's mom and baby in black and white...

What a gorgeous family....

I'm really leaning towards these warmer images... Isn't she just perfect!

Is this not the sweetest face you've ever seen!

Thanks for being troopers about moving the furniture and all! I love your portraits, and I hope you do, too!!

Just sharing....

Just wanted to share a few images from our time at the park yesterday with some friends.

First up....Hannah was having some serious issues with PCS...also known as Photograph's Child Syndrome :)

Andrew was nice and posing...

My friend's little boy...isn't he so cute!

My friend's husband with their daughter...

One more of the little guy...
