Double Your Dollar Gift Certificates

Looking for the perfect gift? What's easier than a gift certificate? And nothing is better than the gift of fine portraiture?

Now through December 15, 2007, when you purchase a gift certificate, the certificate amount is doubled! Make sense...so if you purchase a $100 certificate, your certificate is actually worth $200! And if you can't bring yourself to give it away, you can use it yourself! Gift certificates begin at $50 and can be purchased in increments of $50.

Certificates may be used towards your portrait session, as well as, the purchase of prints.

Andrew was in a "no photos" mood
Just wanted to share the kids Halloween costumes this year. Hannah was a doctor....Dr. Sherman, her favorite doctor from Quantico. We couldn't find a doctor's suit so we had to just go with the nurses scrubs, but she didn't mind at all. And after changing his mind a thousand times over, Andrew choose to be a pirate...oh, and then as we were trick-or-treating, he saw a little boy in a Mater costume and told me that was what he really wanted to be :-).

Still here...

I know it's been forever since my last post so I just wanted to post a little something to let everyone know that I'm still here. We have finally settled into our house here in New Orleans, and we are enjoying the cooler temperatures that have finally come our way. Hopefully, we'll start seeing the leaves change soon...that's my favorite time of the year! October was a busy month for us. We spent Andrew's birthday in East Texas visiting family. Oh...and I had another birthday as well....I'll just say it's the first anniversary of my 29th birthday. It seems like just yesterday when 30 was old....Am I really old?

Anyways...I'll share this photo for now. It's about a month old. I've still got to download my camera from our trip so I can share Andrew's birthday photos with everyone.

A little family update....

Just wanted to let everyone know that we arrived in New Orleans safe and sound. We are living on base in Belle Chasse...just south of the city. The kids like the house because we live on a loop that has the park right in the middle. They can both ride their bikes around the loop without having to worry about too much traffic.

Andrew has started his homeschooling. He's doing well and seems to like it. Hannah just started a dance class at Melissa Young School of Dance. She gets to learn tap, ballet and tumbling all in one class!! She absolutely loves it! Andrew is also taking a boys only tumbling class at the same studio and is having a blast!

Here's Andrew on his motorcycle bike with his new longer hair do (I'm surprised that Simon hasn't given him a high and tight, yet)...
Here's Hannah and her dance teacher, Melissa.

Technically not the best image, but I still love her smile!!
WOW...Look at those eyes!!
Couldn't resist the magical background for this little fairy :)

We're going to miss you guys so much when we leave! You'll have to come see us when you go see your parents :)

Our visit to Texas & an offer...

Hi everyone! We're back from visiting our family in Texas. We had a fun visit, and I hated to see it end. However, we had to get back to Virginia so that we can pack up for our big move to New Orleans! It's exciting and a little scary, too. My Dad and I took a look at the place and things look a little rough. I'm sure that once we get used to the area, we'll be okay, though.

Okay...on to the photos. I photographed all my cousins' kids while I was home!

First, is my cousin's little boy...This is Mr. M all dressed up....look at those big brown eyes!
And the little golfer....
This is little Miss A....She's the daughter of another one of my cousins.
What a sweet girl!

This is B ... he's her big brother.
Look how fast he is! He only sat still for a few shots :)
And here is little C...his mom is another one of my cousins :)
I just love that little mischievous look in his eyes here!
Okay....last cousin to show. This is P. He'll be a Senior this year.
Another cool shot with his horse!

Now some of my kids :)...and little M . They had a blast at the zoo until we got flooded and had to leave early.
Hannah making a connection with one of the penguins :)
They also got to ride a horse while they were in Texas...here's Hannah.
And here's Andrew on the horse...that's my Dad on the left and my mom's cousin on the right.

Okay...so now for the offer! Since we're moving soon this will be a very limited time offer. You can have a session and all your images on a CD with reprint rights released all for $500. You'll still get the 20 images that will be edited, but you'll also get the other 100 - 200 other photos that I take, too! Sessions are limited to outdoors only & for no more than 2 children. I'm hoping that this will be a way for me to get a little more work in before the move, but not have to worry about delivering prints when we're trying to pack.
